Krung Thai Asset Management Public Company Limited (KTAM)
was changed its name from
Mahanakorn Asset Management Company Limited on 4 August 1999 with increasing registered
capital from Baht 100 million to 200 million (full paid-up). KTAM is the sole asset management
company that has the status of state enterprise with its 99.99 of shares held by Krung Thai Bank
Public Company Limited. KTAM provides the services of asset management to institutions,
organizations and large state enterprises under the license to manage funds, private funds
and provident funds.

 

15 November 1996
A license to undertake securities business in category of mutual fund management was granted
by the Ministry of Finance.

4 August 1999
The name was changed from “FBCB Asset Management Company Limited” to “Krung Thai Asset Management Co.,Ltd.”

23 December 1999
The registered and paid-up capital was increased from Baht 100 million to Baht 200 million.

26 December 2000
A license to undertake securities business in category of private fund management was granted by the Ministry of Finance.

3 May 2001
The Thai name was changed from “Krung Thai Asset Management Co.,Ltd. (บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุนรวม กรุงไทย จำกัด)” to “Krung Thai Asset Management Co.,Ltd. (บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุน กรุงไทย จำกัด)”

29 November 2002
The company was transformed into a public limited company under the name “Krung Thai Asset Management Public Company Limited”.
